Obama Outraged by Pastor’s Comments

By MIKE GLOVER, Associated Press Writer
Wed Apr 30, 1:57 AM ET

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Barack Obama angrily denounced his former pastor for "divisive and destructive" remarks on race, seeking to divorce himself from the incendiary speaker and a fury that threatens to engulf his front-running Democratic presidential campaign.

"If Senator Obama did not say what he said, he would never get elected," Wright said. "Politicians say what they say and do what they do based on electability, based on sound bites, based on polls."

"What became clear to me is that he was presenting a world view that contradicts who I am and what I stand for," Obama said. "And what I think particularly angered me was his suggestion somehow that my previous denunciation of his remarks were somehow political posturing. Anybody who knows me and anybody who knows what I'm about knows that I am about trying to bridge gaps and I see the commonality in all people."

"I have been a member of Trinity United Church of Christ since 1992, and have known Reverend Wright for 20 years," Obama said. "The person I saw yesterday was not the person that I met 20 years ago."

full story:

a response by greybeard:

Barack's attempt to conceal, and deny, that he knew any of the Wright displays of antithical philosophy and racist rants are hogwash.

Apologists keep asking, "Should we be blaming Obama for what Wright says and does?

The other side of the coin asks continously, "How could Obama sit in the pews for 20 years and not have heard this?"

Over and Over and Over.

Obama's character and judgment are rarely questioned for these association/s of our Obama.

Just a little bit of homework proves that Obama knew dam well the racist agenda of the Church, knew of Reverend Wrights volatile victimization practice and of his Church's philosophical entrapment methods. The Church's Black Liberation Theology, based on James Cone's "unapologetic" marxist radical platform, was an extra value to Obama as a community organizer.

Obama demands that anything now that Wright has to say can not be associated with him.
"What became clear to me is that he was presenting a world view that contradicts who I am and what I stand for," Obama said

If only this were so. Was it not clear to Obama that Wright was presenting his World View of the USof KKKA in contradiction of what America is, and what it stands for, for decades? Was Obama asleep in the pew as the congregation cheered and applauded these anti-American racist rants?
Wright is precisely the man Obama has known for 20 years. It is Obama who is the contradiction.

James Cone wrote that there was “a need for a theology whose sole purpose is to emancipate the gospel from its ‘whiteness’ so that blacks may be capable of making an honest self-affirmation through Jesus Christ.” And he argued that, since African-American suffering was such a powerful metaphor for the suffering of Christ, color-blind Christianity was a contradiction in terms. “To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen,” he wrote. “God has chosen black people!”

Obama's Book, "Dreams from my Father",
is a collage insistent upon rejecting the white race, self-pity, anger, resentment and (quote:)_"wrestle(ing) with distinction between good and bad whites and it's negligible meaning."

From Obama's first, pre-national, for Chicago politic ears, Book, "I gathered books from the library--Baldwin, Ellison, Hughes, Wright, DuBois...Only Malcom X's autobiography seemed to offer something different.....I knew as well that traveling down the road to self-respect my own white blood would never recede into mere abstraction"

Obama was completely familiar and well versed. He even seemed to be interested in The Nation of Islam as something "different" in his search for where to best belong in discarding his loathsome white blood...
Obama knew. Obama Choose.

Obama, has told us in his first book, "To avoid being mistaken for a white sellout, I chose my friends carefully."

In writings from Obama’s 1995 Book, Dreams from My Father, he implicitly embraces the James Cone/Wright/ Black Value System of 20 years ago.
[One must bear in mind that more recent printings of Baracks book have been cleansed and some quotes won't be found in newer editions.]

Obama, after meeting with Wright at Trinity 1985:
"Afterward, in the parking lot, I sat in my car and thumbed through a silver brochure that I’d picked up in the reception area. It contained a set of guiding principles-a “Black Value System”-that the congregation had adopted in 1979. At the top of the list was a commitment to God, “who will give us the strength to give up prayerful passivism and become Black Christian activists, soldiers for Black freedom and the dignity of all humankind.”
Then a commitment to the black community and black family, education, the work ethic, discipline, and self-respect. A sensible, heartfelt list

Nah, Barack never knew what was going on in this Church. He's never heard any of this Wright rhetoric before and he doesn't know the man he is hearing now...soldiers for Black freedom...A God, “who will give us the strength to give up prayerful passivism and become Black Christian activists, soldiers for Black freedom and the dignity of all humankind.”

Black Liberation Theology is not Christian. Mark my words.

Obama goes on: There was one particular passage in Trinity’s brochure that stood out, though, a commandment more self-conscious in its tone, requiring greater elaboration. “A Disavowal of the Pursuit of middleclassness,” the heading read. “While it is permissible to chase ‘middleincomeness’ with all our might,” the text stated, those blessed with the talent or good fortune to achieve success in the American mainstream must avoid the “psychological entrapment of Black ‘middleclassness’ that hypnotizes the successful brother or sister into believing they are better than the rest and teaches them to think in terms of ‘we’ and ‘they’ instead of ‘US’!

Although worshiping a Cone racist marxist manifesto and a black separtist manual Obama tells us: "Anybody who knows me and anybody who knows what I'm about knows that I am about trying to bridge gaps and I see the commonality in all people."
All I can say is, not "us" but,... B.S.

Obama would write, "My thoughts would often return to that declaration in the weeks that followed as I met with various members of Trinity.

It occurred to me that Trinity, with its African themes, its emphasis on black history, continued the role that Reverend Philips had described earlier as a redistributor of values and circulator of ideas. Only now the redistribution didn’t run in just a single direction from the schoolteacher or the physician who saw it as a Christian duty to help the sharecropper or the young man fresh from the South adapt to big-city life. The flow of culture now ran in reverse as well; the former gang-banger, the teenage mother, had their own forms of validation-claims of greater deprivation, and hence authenticity, their presence in the church providing the lawyer or doctor with an education from the streets. By widening its doors to allow all who would enter, a church like Trinity assured its members that their fates remained inseparably bound, that an intelligible “us” still remained.

It was a powerful program, this cultural community, one more pliant than simple nationalism, more sustaining than my own brand of organizing.

And, if men like Reverend Wright failed to take a stand, if churches like Trinity refused to engage with real power and risk genuine conflict, then what chance would there be of holding the larger community intact?

Sometimes I would put such questions to the people I met with. They would respond with the same bemused look Reverend Phillips and Reverend Wright had given me. For them, the principles in Trinity’s brochure were articles of faith no less than belief in the Resurrection."

Again we see Obama read and knew of the Church's Black Liberation marxist values and thought the List was "heartfelt and sensible."
He also questioned the chances of holding large communities together through the racist principles of Trinity to be "articles of faith no less than belief in the Resurrection." The bemused looks answered, "Yes we can!"

As an article of faith preaching as Wright has done, would be the norm.

As a community organizer Obama also saw the tremendous value that disavowal of success could have. Successful blacks moving out of communities and becoming a part of an alledged better "white society" of "They" rather than a separate brotherhood of "Us" hindered a social and economic black agenda. This freedom to blacks of being 'hypnotized' into believing in becoming THEY, and that their successful lives were actually better, had to be trumped. After all happy people don't stand around complaining about their lives. The one core set of chains that could be used on the successful or the poor to bind them together was a history of slavery, and the pulpit the gathering place for the segregated hour of generating anger.
A collective device an 'agitator' would know how to put to use for his own goals.

Obama not only saw the value in principle, but states in the Book that he asked, if they could organize 50 such churches.
Entrapment in victimization could transcend 'class' with the proper chains applied, validated by claims of great deprivation, these bonds could follow the successful person anywhere while never shrinking the socialist and economic base of black power.
Lest we not forget our Obama is an Alinsky student.

Using the Church and Church's - A powerful tool for organizing.
Obama not only knew of the Church's activist message but worked to spread it's principles of bondage and keep it intact.
Th number of church's I have found on the net that preach political change through social justice ministry rather than Jesus Faith and Christian values is mind boggeling!
One example only.
keywords: social justice, IAF affiliate, Change, Gamaliel Foundation, +Church, etc
I had as many as 66,660 church returns in one instance. Multiply that by collective congregations and you have a movement beyond Wright's pulpit radicalism to contend with.
One has to wonder why the IRS has allowed these "religious" organizations to exist tax free while endorsing particular Candidates in communities for the Church's particular political reform agendas in societal change. They seem to be practicing an integration of Church and State to influence politics.
Of course, this is precisely what they are doing.
This is precisely what Mr. Obama's principle platform was when he began organizing church's 23 years ago.

While we are at it lets address another Obama fallacy. Oh, hell, lets call it what it is. Another Obama lie.
A quote from Obama regarding Pastor Jeremiah Wright in yesterdays Obama/Wright UndertheBus News: "He was never my ‘spiritual advisor... He was never my spiritual mentor; he was my pastor."

Obama told the Chicago Tribune in January 2007."What I value most about Pastor Wright is not his day-to-day political advice. He’s much more of a sounding board for me to make sure that I am speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible and that I’m not losing myself in some of the hype and hoopla and stress that’s involved in national politics."

Obama certainly did consult Wright on political advice, using him as a sounding board, before making a political move that might stray from, or be contrary to, his "unashamedly Christian" beliefs. Wright was certainly Obama's political and spiritual adviser. Next Obama will tell us he never regarded Reverend Wright as his "moral compass" either.

Obama tells us: "I did not vet my pastor before I decided to run for the presidency."

No sir, what you did was Vet your pastor 20 years ago.

Obama knew that Wright was a former Muslim, a black nationalist, and recieved his Masters degree in ISLAM.

In Obama's first book he makes it clear he talked to many ministers and many Church's and in fact he was warned about Reverend Wright. In fact he was warned by Wright himself, 20 years ago.
[Wright to Obama] “I’ll try to help you if I can,” he said. “But you should know that having us involved in your effort isn’t necessarily a feather in your cap.” “Why’s that?” [Obama asked] Reverend Wright shrugged. “Some of my fellow clergy don’t appreciate what we’re about. They feel like we’re too radical. "

And last year Obama was so very aware of "his pastor's" uncontrolled, controversial, vehement speeches that he let the dear pastor know that he would not be giving any opening dialouge for Obama's Presidential announcement 15 minutes before the invocation.
Although Wright was on Obama's ---wait for it--- "Spiritual Advisory Committee" Wright needed to be kept in the closet during the campaign. We surely have to wonder what other 'Advisory' type people Obama will appoint and uncloak in the White House.

Was Reverend Wright's Church, based on James Cone's racist philosophy, unknown to Obama even though he read the literature?
"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy."
Are we really supposed to believe that in just the last few months Wright became a shocking man(iac) whom Obama didn't know?

Obama's Pastor for years and years and years has kept on theme: "Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!"

We (America) believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God!

There's those "articles of faith" showing again. When we see Wright's UNSHOCKED congregation applauding and cheering "Wright's Greatest Hits" are we supposed to believe they too have never heard these incendiary (racist) remarks?

I guess Obama never watched any of those CD's sold by his Church either. You know the very ones containing the clips that we are seeing these 'outtah-context sound bytes' of.

...GOD Dam America!

If we are supposed to believe that Obama never knew of this Church's complex(ities), then do we really want this deaf n blind messiah having any sit downs with those terrorists who believe in a God who loves Death more than the Great American Satan loves life?

Let's also not forget for a man who so loves America that Obama didn't get MAD about any of the past Wright racist or anti-American statements, until it seemed Wright was personally attacking him...
For 20 years Obama hasn't been outraged at all by anything Wright has had to say, nor how it affected the community negatively so long as it's negativity was a 'positive' advancement for the Obama local agenda.

I keep wanting to write that Obama seems to know which 'side of the brain' to Use, and when...
especially after finding Obama's quote on how he dealt with white people one way, and blacks another.

Now that Reverend Wright has taken a stand, and engaged with real power, risking genuine conflict, what chance will there be of holding the WRIGHT larger community intact with Obama disowning the messages and the messenger?
Yes, things have 'changed'. But not much.
Today 12 black ministers in Chicago step up and state they Still support Obama.
Still being a keyword I presume.
The winds of Judas have not created a storm at all.
No outcries. No protests. No anger. No loss of support...not a peep of betrayal.

Three days and not a single dance or verse out of ousted Reverend Wright who knows 20 years of Obama's thought and deed?

If Wright doesn't show up to respond soon, as his egotistical pattern shows, one has to be highly suspicious that Obama and Wright served us up the ole okee Doke.

Which brings us full circle: "If Senator Obama did not say what he said, he would never get elected."

In a March 9, 2007 Wright interview regarding Obama.
Q: I read that when he first came to your church that you actually warned him that it might not be a good idea for him to associate with your church. Can you talk about that?

Wright:"I am not your typical garden-variety African-American clergy person, and because I'm not -- he was talking about organizing the churches in those early days. I said, man, you don't know who you're talking to. They don't like me. I'm not well liked in the city of Chicago, so you tell them you're a member of Trinity, you're going to turn off preachers before they ever get to know you, 'cause they're going to associate you with me, and just that association could be a negative in terms of how you are perceived in their eyes before you open your mouth"
"Oh, you go to Jeremiah's church." That kind of negative imaging I said might be harmful to him in terms of what he was trying to do in building coalitions and getting other churches to do things, again, for the benefit of the people. That would never happen just because they're going to associate your name with mine. That could be detrimental, I told him back then. It holds just as true, even more so, now. In fact, I just shared with, I was trying to remember who it is, somebody in public life was asking me about Barack, and I said listen, Barack might be forced by the media and/or by supporters to be very absent from this church and to put distance between our church and himself. As a politician, he might be forced into that. --you think it's ugly now, it's going to get worse, it's going to get much worse. For survival's sake, as a politician he just might have to not -- not that I love you less, I love me more. I'll never get elected as long as they keep harping on this.
There are actually several statements that have been made by Wright regarding Obama needing to distance himself like: "When [Obama’s] enemies find out that in 1984 I went to Tripoli" (to visit Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan) "a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell."

Still Obama's entrenched racist values kept Reverend Wright close thinking he could
slip back and forth between his black and white world 'trick' of fooling the caucasion with his suave vernacular.

With polls showing 92% of blacks are voting for post racial? Barack, dispite Reverend Wright,it's clear Obama's condemnation is for the white voting ear. It is also quite clear that the two of them knew this day of "I love my ego more" and conning the caucasion vote had to come.

Obama was fully aware of the Church's negative detrimental teachings. Obama Knew. Obama choose.

Anyway, thank god, fate, or destiny, that Obama likes to make speeches and write Books that we can reference for some truths about our Obama.

Can i get an Amen?

Obama Debunked: Communist & Muslim Facts on Obama

by greybeard

Obama's Budships:

"These people are a part of me," says Obama.

Let me Be Frank with you...

Or as Obama might say without his teleprompter,uh, um, auh,
"No really, uh, I want to be like Frank."

This Obama sure seems to be seeking an identity from a very early age.

Has he figured out who He is yet?

Obama says he “ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of twelve or thirteen, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.

Boy-o, he sure wants to ingratiate himself now doesn't he? I'd like to say 'frankly I don't give a dam my dear', but I can't. It's too important to keep dismissing as an untouchable subject.

Have we figured out who he is yet?

In his book, Dreams From My Father, Obama refers to his childhood friend and mentor, repeatedly, as just “Frank.”

Now, I don't want to confuse you, so I'm writing this between beer breaks.

No, "Frank" was not an obscured, and marginalized, Roy Obama, Obama's brother, whom Obama stated in his book he was so very proud of when he became a Muslim.

So...what's Really behind door number 1?

Abongo "Roy" Obama, who is a Luo activist, and a militant Muslim who argues that the black man must "liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture."

Sound familiar? This guy'd fit right in Wright's church.

But, nope, he's not Frank. burp.

In fact all 3 of Obama's half-brothers are Muslim.

And No, "Frank" is not, Obama's cousin, Raila Odinga, whom Obama flew over to Kenya and supported in Raila's Presidential quest... a quest reportedly involving secret packs to take over and install Sharia Law in in the country, while cleansing the Christian faith from the land. Apparently it's taking place now anyway, through rebellion, after Raila was declared the loser in the presidential race. Odinga followers have burned Christians’ homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter.

Now we all know what Sharia law is, right?

If you didn't click on the Odings secret packs above let me just summarize what Baracks cousin will trade his country for to get power:

* Within 6 months re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions.

* Within one year facilitate the establishment of a Shariah court in every Kenyan divisional headquarters. [Note: everywhere in Kenya, not just in “Muslim declared regions.”]

* “Popularize Islam, the only true religion… by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa classes.”
* “Impose a total ban on open-air gospel crusades by worshipers of the cross…”
* “Outlaw gospel programs… on KBC, the National Broadcaster.”
* “Impose a total ban on the public consumption of alcoholic beverages…”
* “Impose an immediate ban on women’s public dressing styles that are considered immoral and offensive to the Muslim faith…”

"You are all my brothers and sisters," Senator Obama told Odinga's communist and Muslim supporters.

Frank, also surely isn't Odinga's oldest son, Fidel, who is named after Fidel Castro. Seeing as Odinga, and his Father, are Communists I guess the 'Fidel' is self explanatory.

Odinga's 2007 Presidential website proclaims: "Vote for Change!", Your Agent of Change"

Does Obama have a single thought, word, or slogan of his own?

Odinga is a communist... Odinga's father was a communist.

Barack Husien Obama Senior was a communist: who wrote the following manifesto after returning to Kenya and receiving his fine (Kennedy sponsored - another lie) Harvard education. "Problems Facing Our Socialism", published July, 1965 in the East African Journal, pp. 26-33.

***Gina Cobb***
1. Obama advocated the communal ownership of land and the forced confiscation of privately controlled land, as part of a forced "development plan", an important element of his attack on the government's advocacy of private ownership, land titles, and property registration. (p. 29)

2. Obama advocated the nationalization of "European" and "Asian" owned enterprises, including hotels, with the control of these operations handed over to the "indigenous" black population. (pp. 32 -33)

3. Obama advocated dramatically increasing taxation on "the rich" even up to the 100% level, arguing that, "there is no limit to taxation if the benefits derived from public services by society measure up to the cost in taxation which they have to pay" (p. 30) and that, "Theoretically, there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed." (p. 31)

4. Obama contrasts the ill-defined and weak-tea notion of "African Socialism" negatively with the well-defined ideology of "scientific socialism", i.e. communism. Obama views "African Socialism" pioneers like Nkrumah, Nyerere, and Toure as having diverted only "a little" from the capitalist system. (p. 26)

5. Obama advocates an "active" rather than a "passive" program to achieve a classless society through the removal of economic disparities between black Africans and Asian and Europeans. (p. 28) "While we welcome the idea of a prevention [of class problems], we should try to cure what has slipped in .. we .. need to eliminate power structures that have been built through excessive accumulation so that not only a few individuals shall control a vast magnitude of resources as is the case now .. so long as we maintain free enterprise one cannot deny that some will accumulate more than others .. " (pp. 29-30) . . . .

These were the "Dreams of Obama's Father"... the simple goat-herder according to our Obama.

Obama writes: "It was into my father's image .. that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself."

Are we to ignore that Obama knew what his father's image was and that painting over that portrait is only a means to obscure who Obama is?

You know Obama Jr. would like to leave certain things out of the information he provides us, but he knows he must. And when he has to explain things that he gets busted on he Inserts other variables surrounding a 'keyword' to tone it down.

Much like:
Papa was a non practicing Muslim atheist, mama was a Kansas farm girl, a free willed traveler...says Obama.

It even sounds close enough to squelch further questioning.

All these Obama words are pretty lies.

Obama sat in a cafe in middle America and told Voters that his mother was Christian...Photobucket

Obama's mother is described by her friends as a "fellow traveler". She is also most definitely described as an atheist.

"The term, fellow traveler, is most often applied to a sympathizer of Communism."

The man "changes" stories according to whatever audience, or local, he is speaking too. The man's an artist for sure.

The truth is that there is a lot of Islamist, radical communist worshiping coincidences running about in this family...And a good deal of them want to take over Governments and install their versions of "change".....

Obama seems to have this miraculous slippery way of shrugging off these Muslim images we see as if they don't speak a thousand words, when the words, if taken in context, of the Obama 'story', speak for themselves.

Instead of coming out and saying - Hey, Take a hike !! I don't believe there's anything wrong with Muslims or me dressing up as a Muslim when I visit my Muslim families.

I'm proud to be Muslim. Or, I am proud that my family is Muslim. After all I'm a mixture of white, black, arab, and born with a Muslim name from the loins of an Arab-African Muslim father. So What?

Instead this image of Obama dressed as a Somali Muslim gets identified as a cheap shot of racist, divisive, and shameful fear tactics Of the Hillary machine; isn't it funny that they never accused the GOP and the McCain machine ever. It isn't the Gop's Turn yet. It was always his opponent who was apparently attacking him. But when the 'media' is through destroying Hillary for 'their' Obama they'll set their sites on McCain.
But I digress again.
Why deny that you proudly wore some African Somali garb, and why is it a cheap shot to be viewed in African dress up?

Is there more to the story?

Maybe Obama just doesn't want people to comprehend that many in his Muslim family are a part of those radical ideas, of a One World Sharia law, and ethnic/infidel/ cleansing, that we are fighting against?

Maybe we don't want to be reminded of the soldiers being mutilated and dragged though the streets of Somalia by seeing Obama dressed so proudly.

Maybe the Jewish vote far outweighs the Muslim vote that Obama would lose.

Maybe Reverend Wright's flavor of Christianity allows/allowed/ Obama to pull the wool over the eyes of this countries Christian vote that he will need to ever pull off capturing the office of the President of the United States!..."I am a Christian!"

Why is Obama silent while Kenya burns? Well, it's reported (refind) Obama was having conversations with Odinga during the New Hampshire primaries while people were being murdered. But Obama was never questioned on this relationship so he didn't find himself in the position to have to explain that Odinga just wasn't the man he knew,... as the man he knew.

As the guy said in that Jaws movie, as he saw what passed under the boat, "We're gona have to get a bigger BUS..."

Hummm- wait, is that what he said?

As much as I am tired of reading the bus cliche', "How many people are under the bus now anyway?"

In the "bus" link above it is revealed exactly how Obama lied in his 'race speech' when he portrayed his grandmother as a 'typical white person' afraid of blacks. Compared to Reverend Wright, who didn't seem to make Obama 'cringe' at all, because Wright had reasons for his racism, ole granny took a shot for the cause.

Just how many fabrications have to be revealed about this charlatan before he ceases to be the Dems darling?

I've rarely seen anyone who so easily erases any questions of his past, even when he himself, who can't be questioned, has provided us with words, an images, of his past.

One can not even say "Barack Hussein Obama", his Arabic name, without being silenced.

On February 27th, speaking to Kristof of The New York Times, Barack Hussein Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset."

In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, "with a first-class [Arabic] accent."
[Note to self: bear in mind for future political-thought. This is the "Sunni" version of the prayer - not Shiite]

The opening lines of the Adhan (Azaan) is the Shahada:

"Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet

According to Islamic scholars, reciting the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith, makes one a Muslim. This simple yet profound statement expresses a Muslim's complete acceptance of, and total commitment to, the message of Islam.

Obama chanted it with pride and finesse.

Now, I write this basically to point out, and verify, another of Obams's lies.
Obama, his website, all of his cronies, denied repeatedly that Obama ever went to a Muslim school, or that he was ever a Muslim.

Obama, or Barry Soetoro, was enrolled, as a Muslim, according to documents – in the Besuki Primary School, a public Muslim school in Jakarta. [He was also listed as an Indonesian citizen!; wrongly listed? How does one reportedly born in Hawaii become an Indo. citizen?]

So many questions and so little time. Tick Tick Tick...

Despite all the obfuscating denials, Barack said, in his BOOK, that he went to a Muslim school for 2 years, studying his Koranic verses, for goodness sakes.

Where else did he learn to recite the Shahada? dah.

Obama in his Book: "My mother was less concerned with me learning the catechism or puzzling out the meaning of the muezzin's call to evening prayer than she was with whether I was properly learning my multiplication tables."

A muezzin is the Moslem official of a mosque who summons the faithful to prayer from a minaret five times a day.

In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell mother I made faces during Quranic studies,” wrote Obama.

Obama seems to have missed out on the lessons of telling the truth, or telling so many of these truths... that one can't keep track of them all...if ya know what I mean.

It appears Obama has at least the verbiage of the Sunni version of the Islamic prayer down pat. How'd he do that?

Do words matter?

So most people, including Obama, continue to write, and to report, that Obama is not, and has never been, a Muslim -
Obama's campaign finally came out "to clarify" that what They really meant was, "Obama is not a "PRACTICING" Muslim.
In three months Barack's campaign has gone from describing the U.S. presidential hopeful as never having been a Muslim, and never having been raised as a Muslim, to now having never having been a practicing Muslim.

Okee dokkee- now that we have established that the evidence can't be erased so it must be diluted. . .
Why all the clever obfuscation to cover up that Obama is/or was/ a Muslim ...he's just not a "practicing" Muslim?

A former teacher at Obama's Muslim school, Tine Hahiyary, remembers a young Obama who was quite religious and actively took part in "mengaji" classes which teach how to read the Koran in Arabic.
"He was quite religious in Islam but only after marrying Michelle, he changed his religion."

In an interview with the New York Times, published on April 30th, Maya Soetoro-Ng, Obama's younger half sister, told the Times, "My whole family was Muslim, and most of the people I knew were Muslim."
Was Barack not a part of the whole family?

I doubt seriously that Mr. Obama needs to look up the word 'patrilineal'.
Obama knows that he was 'born' Muslim.

As I said above, it is also written that merely saying the Shahadah, as he has, means it is supposed to make one a Muslim.

Do I think he is a practicing terrorist Mujaheddin type of Muslim?
I don't think he'll be setting any car bombs... but has he supported, and also provided funds to terrorist organizations who do? Yes.(see board links below)

Do I think he prefers the Wright & Farahkan Muslim brand of the Nation of Islam thinking? Yes.

Obama: "I gathered books from the library--Baldwin, Ellison, Hughes, Wright, DuBois Only Malcolm X's autobiography seemed to offer something different.....I knew as well that traveling down the road to self-respect my own white blood would never recede into mere abstraction"

I think along the way Obama has varied his brands of politics and religions as he has been learning over the years how to best position himself locally for advantage and advancement.

Are 'we' confused?

Obama's mom... she met Obamas Muslim father in a "Russian" language class in college... Back then wasn't "Russian" -> Soviet? Why does a Hawaiian want to speak Russian?
Especially from a mother who, while in Indonesia, as quoted by Obama himself, said his Mother had said to Obama's Muslim step-father in an argument they had had that Americans are NOT MY People .

Then there are Obama's grandparents who were members of a left-wing Unitarian church near Seattle. The church located in Bellevue, Washington was nicknamed 'the little red church,' because of it's communist leanings.

Why do even the Commies think he's a Communist mole!

Could the Muslims think he's a Muslim mole? (yes- re-find the links and comments)

It is written in the Quran it is permissible, and required, to lie to your enemy. But then again, being Muslim and becoming a Christian is just about the worst thing an apostate Obama could do in the eyes of some of these Terrorists he wants to sit down with... it's an offense to Islam that calls for 'death'.

[re-find the articles that describe the Muslim world believing that Barack Hussein is only "Claiming" not not be Muslim - to fool the Satan Americans - ]

But, Where were we? Oh, yes, Frank... just the facts ma'am.

No, "Frank" is not Weathermen terrorists William Ayres or Bernadine Dohrn whom Obama spoke with as recently as 2005, yet publicly stated his only recollection of a meeting was over a decade ago.

We don't want anyone questioning Obama's relationship with Anti-American Bombers or Loans Obama approved as a Board member of the Woods Fund, Which William Ayers also sat on, to the Arab American Action Network, which has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization; A US Department listed terrorist organization.

What exactly has to be on one's resume anyway to keep landing feet first in the middle of a bunch of dissidents and Anti-American opinined relationships?

But I digress. Again.

So who the hell is Frank?

Obama, in his Book, writes about "a poet named Frank..."

Obama sure has a way with words - doesn't he? Another poet?

Wait for it...

It turns out that Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a communist, and Obama did know.

Obama states so in his book.

Although he obscures Frank's 'notoriety', the message is clearly there for those who can pick up on who Frank is in context with the ideology being expressed in Obamas quest for self.

Obama writes in Dreams From My Father that he saw "Frank" only a few days before he left Hawaii for college, and that Davis seemed just as radical as ever. Davis called college "An advanced degree in compromise" and warned Obama not to forget his "people" and not to "start believing what they tell you about equal opportunity and the American way and all that shit."

Davis also complained about foot problems, the result of "trying to force African feet into European shoes," Obama wrote.

Obama's mentors.

Obama's associates.

Obama's buds.

Obama's family.

Obama's politics.

Frank is just another in a growing looong list of Obama's dubious fellowships.

Now that "Frank" is known, one has to wonder if "Frank", will be added to the growing list of peoples who Obama disagrees with, but would never disown.

Or, would Obama use his usual excuse of, "Had I known..." or after exposure, "These are not the people I knew"...

When one follows in the footsteps of Obama one sees his 'typical American shoes' don't fit him agreeably. He even cloaks himself in a non Christian Christianity of hateful messages from the likes of Farakuan and Wright.

Obama's own quotes regarding his resistance to Christianity were overcome by a Reverend Wright's 'BRAND' of Christianity.

One of hate, racism, Black Power, and rage against the USA.

So we really must question Obama's character when we heard him say, "These people are a part of me."

When we examine all these parts ,of Obama, his story is not a Chapter of character we want in the White House.

When one investigates the words that Obama uses in his messages there is a clear direction incorporated too.

Whose indoctrinated minds have their etymological antenna tweaked and hear metaphors of something completely different in Obama's "change" idiom than those of us unversed in such words used by Barack?

Obama:...poverty of ambition - shared prosperity - slumber of indifference -

I mean who talks like this?

These phrases used by Obama surely seem to be linked to, and of, the peoples of socialist marxist-communist mindset and mantra.

Obama also says: "I will stand with them (Arabs-Pakistani's - Muslims) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

'Just words'? ... Don't tell me words don't mean anything!

Is it unfair to hang a jacket on this guy, when it fits?

Who is this guy?

What is this guy?

Obama campaigned for socialist Bernie Sanders. Sanders is the first self-described socialist to be elected to the U.S. Senate.

I can't figure out if Obama is Muslim, Marxist, Racist, Communist, Socialist, Black Nationalist, or Combinations...

Perhaps from those he was surrounded by, and those by choice he surrounded himslef with, the lil boy, to the grown man, in some 'parts', he is all of the above.

The one thing I am sure of is that anyone who sat in Rev. Wright's (have you read James Cone?) "kill the white man's God" Marxist church -> is Not Christian.

I fail to see how anyone can ignore the patterns of serious radical problems with Mr. Obama.

But as we hear today Michelle Obama stated:... " are justified in your ignorance. That's America."

Well, Michelle, America, "for all its flaws", another of your hubbies qualified quotes, can not go down the path of an Obama Obamanation of Change.

What will Obama trade for power?

I shudder to think of the advisers an Obama president would surround himself with in the White House. He has two Nation of Islam soldierettes on his campaign staff. (Jennifer Mason and Cynthia K. Miller)

How about Bill Ayers as head of Department of Education...

Imagine that vision of "coalition politics".

Taxi !!

All I can say is, God Help America, and... Frankly...can I get you a Rezko 'deal' with those fries?

update-6/14/10 I wrote this up over 2 years ago while still trying to figure out who and what Obama is -

"Abortion as a Contraceptive"

Obama's Grandchildren a Burdensome Mistake?

One thing we know is Obama agrees with partial birth abortion. I explained once to a Dutch blogger what partial Birth abortion entailed and he said, ..." that doesn't go on!! No, Way!!"

I had to prove it to him with links, articles , and photos. I suppose I could have just sent him Senator Obama's abortion Voting record.

Yes, there are those like Obama who would promote Law to deliver a healthy child, leaving only the babies head in the birth canal, so no one can say the baby was ever BORN, obscuring it's life by this practice, by reaching into the birth canal with an implement of death to crush the head and suck the child's brains out. I won't even describe the disposal of the unwanted child's remains.

Obama even voted a Bill that allowed an aborted baby, born alive, to be removed to a room to be terminated.

Would Obama's accidental Grandchildren be a mistake? Punishable by death? A burden so great that even the grandparents wouldn't help out?

Referring to contraceptive and his daughters in a speech today, April 1, 2008, Senator Obama said…” if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

Setting a mother's health issue aside, or that the child is alive, Obama's opinion asks us to understand the ultimate punishment to babies, is acceptable to him because of the burdensome, inconvenience, and responsibility that the woman will suffer without the choice of abortion as a contraceptive... at last a proponent slips up describing the inconvenient truth.

I'd bet , quite allot, that Not one of these principled pro choice -ers has ever walked into a room and exclaimed: "Guess what! I'm having a fetus!!"

The pro-choice blogs I have read over time have mostly discarded this myth that They must have the right because of the health of the mother...they are quite clear in today's advancement of slipperied sloped rights to choose, that , the choice now includes "mistakes", inconvenience, burden, and even 'retribution' towards a sex partner they are 'mad at'.
Just spend some time reading the 'right to privacy' and economic 'hardship' comments on the Net from the women who defend reasoning for abortion of "unwanted" pregnancies.
The arguments are no longer one of health issues of a mother...or can we even call one a mother if we can't even call her child a 'baby'? Proponents of abortion now believe that abortion for ANY reason, is justified.

As case in point Obama takes the abortion issue even a step further.

Babies were being born alive and put into back rooms, or utility closets to die.

Make no mistake ... Obama thinks that infanticide is A-ok.

Legislation was presented on the federal level and in various states called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. It stated all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted.

BAIPA sailed through the U.S. Senate by unanimous vote. Even Sens. Clinton, Kennedy and Kerry agreed a mother’s right to “choose” stopped at her baby’s delivery.

But in Illinois, the state version of BAIPA repeatedly failed, thanks in large part to then-state Sen. Barack Obama.

In a committee in 2001 and 2002, of which Obama was a member, Obama articulately worried that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women’s rights or abortionists’ rights.

Obama voted against the measure, twice. It ultimately failed.

In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which BAIPA was sent, Obama stopped it from even getting a hearing, shelving it to die much like babies were still being shelved to die in Illinois hospitals and abortion clinics.

Michelle Obama also came out with a letter calling for a luncheon get together to garner supporters to oppose the Born Alive Infants Protection Act.

Do you have to Wonder what was going on in Michelle's Chicago hospital utility rooms?

With views like the above it probably is a very fortunate thing for Un-Born, partially Born, and fully Born Americans that Senator Obama has been being paid to do a Job for the last 14 months that he hasn't been doing.

What the Communists' Think of Obama

Obama A Communist Revolutionary Mole?

an excerpt from the People's Weekly World...a Communist agenda:

(3)... Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary “mole,” not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through.

Now why is it that the Communists can view Obama and his views, and his History, and recognize a comrade in charms, while the rest of the Democratic Party would exalt Obama as the best of their best, putting out his fires causing smoke screens for the committed and undecided?

Look what is hanging on the wall of the Obama's Houston campaign offices. It's the flag of communist Cuba, embellished with the face of terrorist Che Guevara.

Are the Democrats so desperate for the White House that they would choke this Un-American camouflaged racist down our throats?

What do the Communist recognize that the swooners don't?

What do the Communist recognize in Obama that we the 'typically average' non revolutionary do not?

Why do Communist think Obama has gone underground to obscure who, and what, he really is?

What message resonates with a Communist that you and I do not understand because we don't speak their language?

WHY These tentacled relationships and associates Obama has had are ignored by millions of Obama Democrats perhaps goes to their years and years of being groomed towards the same mindset of what is called "the far left"- - even left of Left Liberal.

Why people don't call things the way they are is disingenious - and dangerous for our Country.

Call "the far far left" what they are- Socialists, marxist, and Communist. Period.

Obama has the distinction of being the Number 1 lefty in The Senate.

The Senate knows Obama. The House knew. The Superdelegates know. The Media knows.

Obama has to have demonstrated the background in vernacular and writing a recognizable tone and model that gave him such a distinction.

Add in the formula that Obama has clearly defined his hidden self as a separtist concerned primarily with 'the black community' and their written racist bylaws, and their cradel of "Africa first motto", one doesn't have to be kicked by the donkey to question the Democratic Party Leaders patriotism, common sense, or intelligence.

Wake up Democrats. You are providing comfort and support for an Imposter.

NO! NO! No you can't!

I think the Democratic Leaders should be called to Task for trying to turn our Country over to Obama and his marxist/Communist/racist/ sympathizers because they are afraid of a violent reaction of the black community, or that they will lose the future black Vote and their jobs.

This is a Sell out and Fold much like the Europeans to the violent Muslims manual of progress.

I have a suggestion for controlling violent behavior. It's called break the law - go to jail.

This pacification going on all over the world is forcing peoples and Countries to give up their own laws, culture, and identities and being controlled through fear.

There's just so much 'tolerance' one can be asked of before tolerance becomes intolerable.

Communists aside - Wait for the Muslim blog and what they expect Obama to be able to bring to them "changing" America; a change Obama already began with the special Muslim "food laws" he passed.

This is precisely how muslafication begins. Tiny steps.

Taxi!! taxi! - - - No! You infidel! You have booze in your luggage? you walk...!

America can not exist, as is, with two - three - four - systems of pacifications and adjusting to everyone elses cultures.
Where does it stop?

This is America. We have fought decades of Communism worldwide. The graveyards are full of sacrifice to prevent the model of Communism from spreading.

We can not tolerate a marxist, nationalist, jihadied, Communist or a racist Agenda in the White House.

Superdelegates need to be written too, just as we do to our Congressmen and Senators,( most of which appear to BE Superdelegates) and point out that their vote for Obama will be a Vote for a "Liberation" racist, a marxist ideology platform, and probable Treason.

by greybeard

..."E Pluribus Unum" is a motto found on the Great Seal of the United States. It also appears on the Seal of the President.

Does it appear to anyone but me that Obama seems to have designed his very own African style Presidential Seal?

See E Pluribus Unum Design at Obama's site. .

[E Pluribus Unum or - Z? a Paintshop blow up sure looks like maybe the "E" is a "Z" Pluribus Unum ?? ]

The Obama Logo (The Big "O" with the rising Sun symbol) is depicted on 2 African flags - the rising sun means 'a dawn of hope' ...
(the rising sun on 2 African flags- a coincidence?)

In the image, above, the eagle carrying a Spear - instead of the 13 arrows [see spear-tip behind left wing; follow a line to bottom of shaft - quite Clear is a spear]

As I was researching Obama's Trinity Church site I noted that the churches website "used too" display a Flag.
No, not a US of A flag.
You can view what it once looked like, before removal, here:
Or, if it disappears from there, here:

So, just what Flag is Red, Black, and Green?
The Black Liberation Flag
The Pan-African Flag
The Black Nationalist Flag

They are all the same flag. A Flag invented for the black race by Marcus Garvey.

When I take into consideration and context who Obama has been trying to emulate his entire life, his papa, and what Afrocentric message he has worshiped, Black Liberation, the Spear means to me an African Spear...(I do not believe a spear has ever been a symbol of particular American heritage- so what does the Spear symbolize?)

I believe the messages in Obama images are not a coincidence, but by design an obscured medium.

By itself I'm sure it would make any Black Nationalist a dreamy tattoo but when combined with the words E Pluribus Unum it appears to me a redesign of the Presidential Seal.

Isn't it illegal to create (change) a representation of a presidential seal? I looked it up and wasn't sure of the wording and it's application here. Not sure.

It doesn't feel 'racist' to me exactly - but it does feel like Obama keeps designing various symbolisms, in image and venacular, of separating himself 'and his race' while flam-boozeling a major proportion of voters with his One America jargon.

Is this one of those "changes" of Presidential ideas?

Even in the symbols of our Country - erie representations seem to revolve around Che Obama.

You have to wonder about, the Obambacity of Obama, and of course, Michell's new White House china.

Obama fond of Soviet Socialist Art?

This is a first draft about Obama’s Constructivism
-Soviet Socialist Realism -
-propaganda posters - commissioned and sold on Obama's website.
The artist is Shepard Fairey who advertizes, Manufacturing Quality Dissent since 1989:

Another radical to add to the Obama list.

I haven't pinned Faiery down to communism -so far- other than as symbolism that he likes…and he likes it mucho.

Then again it IS precisely this SYMBOLISM that is perhaps just one more image of who and what Obama represents and the ‘message’ he not only portrays but delivers with more of his arrogance .

Obama saw Shepard Fairey’s first "Progress" poster and Obama wrote Shepard a letter - and later Obama commissioned the "Change" and, "obey" "Hope" posters;

You will note in Obama’s letter that he has no problem with graffiti and defacing Americas public property

- of note the Lapel pin on the Progress poster-

Obama: "Just Words"

a very very Rough Draft-unfinished

Obama’s Plagiarism, and pretty words combined, put an idea in my head, that if a man could be caught once borrowing other’s ‘words’ were there other words that he has ripped off that not just shows and empty suit, but a suit’s tailored character.

The man likes to borrow.

I mean the Senator even took the words “Audacity of Hope” from his Reverend Wright to use for the Title of his Book.

When in doubt, look for the patterns. The reflections…

Who is Obama?

What do you read? What interests your study habits?

What are the chances that what you regurgitate is what you have ingested?

REV. WRIGHT: Have you read James Cone???

Well, it seems to me if we can be what we read then Obams repetitions will show roots of what he has read. Perhaps what he has read shows an exposed message. Perhaps a clear ideology as Wright has clarified.
Is this eloquent repertoire his own? Who recognizes his words and their message when they hear them spoke?

After extensive reading myself, and searching of Obamas words, ‘just words’, seems to have a precise X on a map. Follow the keyword co-ordinates and see where one lands.

After looking at some of the words Obama has used attributed to “quotes” of Obama, even at his website, one of the first lines to jump out at me was: poverty of ambition

I mean who talks like that?

Obama:Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. And it will leave you unfulfilled.

Obama:…”We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition…”

We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don't want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential.

Has someone else actually said these words, besides Michelle Obama?

a quote: ”…poverty of ambition which made them set their sites to low.”

Who said this?
Ernest Bevin: Minister of labour - Socialist -a notorious anti-Semitic canard of the 1920s; adhering to the policy of returning Jewish Holocaust survivors who tried to enter Palestine back to the Displaced Persons camps in Europe.

Obama: Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.
BARACK OBAMA, speech, Feb. 5, 2008

"We are the ones we have been waiting for."

Who said that?

1) "We are the ones we have been waiting for." A song by Sweet Honey in the Rock... Began at the Black Repertory Company in Washington DC...has been producing music for more than 30 years...with a musical style rooted in the Gospel music, spirituals and hymns of the African-American church...and the African Disporsa.
They have addressed topics including motherhood, spirituality, freedom, civil liberties, domestic violence, and racism.

2) "We are the ones we have been waiting for". A poem by June Jordan 1980...a Berkeley racially consumed radical lesbian activist.

3) Excerpted from Alice Walker’s We Are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For: Inner Light in a Time of Darkness, first published by The New Press, November 1, 2006.

Alice walker regarding June Jordan: "We were not friends who saw each other often; not the kind of friends who discussed unpublished work. In fact, we sometimes disagreed profoundly with each other. We were the kind of friends, instead, who understood that we were forever on the same side: the side of the poor, the economically, spiritually and politically oppressed, “the wretched of the earth.” And on the side, too, of the revolutionaries, teachers and spiritual leaders who seek transformation of the world."

In We are the Ones We have been Waiting For, Walker brings us a collection of meditations that draw equally on her spiritual grounding and her progressive political convictions. Walker encourages readers to have faith that despite the overwhelming situations we find ourselves in, we are prepared to create positive change.

Populism: The Politics of Popular Agency

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for; nobody else is gonna rescue us.” composed by Dorothy Cotton inspired by “Poem for South African Women” by June Jordan

Dorothy Cotton translates years of experience and learning into words and song bearing messages of hope.

Through "Songs of the Movement," laughter and storytelling, Dorothy synthesizes the lessons from our history into a working vision for the future.
Martin Luther King, head of SCLC, who identified with the populist tradition sponsored citizenship schools across the South, directed by Dorothy Cotton, in which people learned skills of community organizing.
As a democratic tradition and philosophy, populism has three elements. It builds popular power to break up unjust concentrations of wealth and power. It advances values of community, liberty, and equality against the grain of dominant trends in modern cultures. And it is civically educative, developing people’s public identities, imaginations, and skills.
The black freedom movement had strong populist aspects in these ways, most often neglected.

I have many more quotes of Obama to add here that lead to same type of peoples and ideologies.

Anything ring bells here? I just typed the words in, I didn't force google to return me radicals bent on the waiting, revolutionaries, and the transformation of the world.
Do you begin to get the inkling that when Obama speaks he isn't addressing America?

He is addressing certain segments of America.

Obama's Constitution:"Weak over Strong"

Obama asks: "Can, and should, the existing concepts of American jurisprudence provide racial minorities more than formal equality through the courts?"

provide racial minorities more than formal equality?

[Rough draft - work in progress]

Alot is being said about how Barack Obama looks like the guy who can bring everyone together on the issues of race.

Whereas most Americans would like to move past racial division and don't make it a topic at the local coffee shop, or make it a consuming personal issue from dawn to dawn, Obama seems to have planned his entire life around his 'white' issues.

Examining Obama's Life, writings, speeches, Associates, friendships, and career we see that Obama is far from being unconsumed by his perceived problems with 'whites'.

Examine the three courses Obama taught - (and btw, another Obama lie he had posted at his Senate website - Obama was NEVER a Law PROFESSOR - he was a 4th tier Law Lecturer)

CURRENT ISSUES IN RACISM &THE LAW. 54302. This seminar examines current problems in American race relations and the role the law has played in structuring the race debate. How have past and present legal approaches to racism fared? Has the continued emphasis on statutory solutions to racism impeded the development of potentially richer political, economic, and cultural approaches, and if so, can minorities afford to shift their emphasis given the continued prevalence of racism in society? Can, and should, the existing concepts of American jurisprudence provide racial minorities more than formal equality through the courts? Students prepare papers that evaluate how the legal system has dealt with particular incidents of racism and that discuss the comparative merits of litigation, legislation and market solutions to problems of institutional racism in American society. This seminar may be taken for fulfillment of the Substantial Writing Requirement. The student’s grade is based on a 15 page paper, group presentation and class participation. Autumn (3) Mr. Obama.

CONSTITUTIONAL LAW III: EQUAL PROTECTION AND SUBSTANTIVE DUE PROCESS. 40301. This course considers the history, theory, and contemporary law of the post-Civil War Amendments to the Constitution, particularly the Equal Protection and Due Process Clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment. The central subjects are: the constitutional law governing discrimination on the basis of race, gender, and other characteristics; the recognition of individual rights not explicitly enumerated in the Constitution; and the constitutional distinction between state and private action. Throughout, students consider certain foundational questions, including the role of courts in a democracy, and the question of how the Constitution should be interpreted. The student’s grade in Mr. Obama’s section is based on a take home examination. The student’s grade in Mr. Strauss’ section is based on a proctored final examination. Autumn (3) Mr. Obama, Winter (3) Mr. Strauss.

VOTING RIGHTS &THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS. 42001. This course examines the history of voting rights law in the United States, as well as the broader issues surrounding various systems of representative democracy: How should the courts balance the demands of majority rule with the desire to protect minority voices? Does the Voting Rights Act, as amended, promote minority voices, or simply segregate them from the larger political discourse? Are there alternative models, such as cumulative voting, that would better serve majority and minority alike? Do systems of more “direct democracy”—such as ballot initiatives and referenda—empower voters or undermine a more thoughtful deliberative process? And does voting even matter in a complex, modern society where campaigns are dominated by money and issues are framed by lobbyists? The student’s grade is based on a substantial paper. This seminar may be taken for fulfillment of the Substantial Writing Requirement. Winter (3) Mr. Obama.

Obama regarding the confirmation hearings for John Roberts and Samuel Alito to the U.S. Supreme Court:
Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., said, 'The role of a justice is to favor the weak over the strong. In the most difficult cases, the determining factor is not what the law in question says, or what the Constitution says. In those difficult cases,' " what matters is "what is in the judge's heart."

Obama on 2nd Amendment:Clinging to Guns
from obamas own 2006 website:

"Solving these problems will require changes in government policy, but it will also require changes in hearts and a change in minds. I believe in keeping guns out of our inner cities, and that our leaders must say so in the face of the gun manufacturers' lobby "

Obama's Church: The Fundamentals

Black Liberation Theology:..Destroying the white devil in us...

If you have read Mr. Obama's book, "Dreams from my Father", or my posting here entitled Obama Quotes: The Two Worlds'll note that the Reverend Wright's church fit perfectly the Obama quest to distance himself from the white that ran through his veins.

Be sure you get the 1995 edition of Mr. Obama's Book, however, because editions that followed, once Obama realized he could be a Presidential contender, were cleansed of most of the 1995 racist content. Obama would comment rereading the 1995 edition made him grimace. [refind statement]

In a Fox news Hannity interview with Obama's spiritual advisor, Reverend Jeramiah Wright, the reverend repeatedly interupted Mr. Hannity asking:
1) Have you read James Cone?
2)Do you know black liberation theology?

So, who is James Cone and what does he tell us that we need to know about black liberation theology?

"James Cone, quoted in William R Jones, “Divine Racism: The Unacknowledged Threshold Issue for Black Theology”, in African-American Religious Thought: An Anthology, ed Cornel West and Eddie Glaube, Westminster John Knox Press, 2003, pp. 850, 856.

Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community … Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."

From James Cone’s own, Black Theology and Black Power, 1997, Orbis, p.150:

"For white people, God’s reconciliation in Jesus Christ means that God has made black people a beautiful people; and if they are going to be in relationship with God, they must enter by means of their black brothers, who are a manifestation of God’s presence on earth. The assumption that one can know God without knowing blackness is the basic heresy of the white churches. They want God without blackness, Christ without obedience, love without death. What they fail to realize is that in America, God’s revelation on earth has always been black, red, or some other shocking shade, but never white. Whiteness, as revealed in the history of America, is the expression of what is wrong with man. It is a symbol of man’s depravity. God cannot be white even though white churches have portrayed him as white. When we look at what whiteness has done to the minds of men in this country, we can see clearly what the New Testament meant when it spoke of the principalities and powers. To speak of Satan and his powers becomes not just a way of speaking but a fact of reality. When we can see a people who are controlled by an ideology of whiteness, then we know what reconciliation must mean. The coming of Christ means a denial of what we thought we were. It means destroying the white devil in us. Reconciliation to God means that white people are prepared to deny themselves (whiteness), take up the cross (blackness) and follow Christ (black ghetto)."

"Black theology cannot accept a view of God which does not represent God as being for oppressed blacks and thus against white oppressors. Living in a world of white oppressors, blacks have no time for a neutral God. The brutalities are too great and the pain too severe, and this means we must know where God is and what God is doing in the revolution. There is no use for a God who loves white oppressors the same as oppressed blacks. We have had too much of white love, the love that tells blacks to turn the other cheek and go the second mile. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power, which is the power of blacks to destroy their oppressors, here and now, by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject God's love." [A Black Theology of Liberation, p. 70]

(the 10 and 12 step black Liberation credo to be added here)

Trinity's Black Value System
1. Commitment to God
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a portion of Person Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System

"A Black Theology of Liberation" by James H. Cone

If the oppressed of this land want to challenge the oppressive character of white society, they must begin by affirming their identity in terms of the reality that is anti-white. Blackness, then, stands for all victims of oppression who realize that the survival of their humanity is bound up with liberation from whiteness.’ This understanding of blackness can be seen as the most adequate symbol of the dimensions of divine activity in America. And insofar as this country is seeking to make whiteness the dominating power throughout the world, whiteness is the symbol of the Antichrist. Whiteness characterizes the activity of deranged individuals intrigued by their own images of themselves, and thus unable to see they are what is wrong with the world. Black theology seeks to analyze the satanic nature of whiteness and by doing so to prepare all nonwhites for revolutionary action…

The black intellectual's goal, says Cone, is to "aid in the destruction of America as he knows it." Such destruction requires both black anger and white guilt. The black-power theologian's goal is to tell the story of American oppression so powerfully and precisely that white men will "tremble, curse, and go mad, because they will be drenched with the filth of their evil."

In the preface to his 1970 book, A Black Theology of Liberation, Wright wrote: "There will be no peace in America until whites begin to hate their whiteness, asking from the depths of their being: 'How can we become black?'

of note :
It turns out the Trinity Church, like many African-American churches, happily accepts believing Muslims within its congregation. And evidently many Muslims have no problems surrounding themselves with an anti-American, anti-Israel preacher who week in and week out wins the amens of his adoring congregation.

The Goals Of Black Liberal Theology — Dr. Robert A. Morley, internationally recognized scholar in the fields of theology and apologetics.

“l.The goals of BT are to turn religion into sociology, Christianity into a political agenda, Jesus into a black Marxist rebel, and the gospel into violent revolution. They are more interested in politics than preaching the gospel.

“III. The Methodology of Black Liberal Theology

“The main method employed by BT is to manipulate embittered young blacks by turning their feelings of inferiority, alienation, jealousy, hopelessness and self-hate, into racist rage against whites, Orientals and affluent blacks who are conveniently blamed for their lack of personal initiative to better their lot in life.

“IV. The Main Philosophic Error of Black Liberal Theology

“BT is based upon the philosophic error of relativism in which ‘Jesus’ is viewed as only a religious symbol which can be interpreted anyway they want. Thus it does not matter who and what the historical Jesus really was. BT invented a black Marxist Jesus to lead the way to violent revolution because such a ‘Jesus’ will serve their purpose. BT is condemned in II Cor. 11:4 and Gal. 1:8-9.

“V. The Racism Of Black Liberal Theology

“While BT is filled with racist statements against whites and Orientals, it is primarily a form of ‘black on black’ racism. The following evidence demonstrates this to be true.

“A. While BT claims to give blacks a better self-image, they unwittingly encourage a poor self-image among blacks by defining “blackness” in such negative terms as ‘the poor,’ ‘the oppressed,’ and ‘niggers.’ Why do they always define the ‘black experience’ in such negative terms? Why do they assume that all blacks live in the ghetto subsisting on welfare in the midst of crime and filth?

“B. With its constant emphasis on God loves the poor, the oppressed, etc. BT actually paralyzes and demoralizes blacks to accept a parasitic life- style dependent on the government dole instead of fostering self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

“C. It seems to me that BT feeds off of class envy and racist rage. Instead of spending their time blaming the white man for the black man’s problems, BT ought to be encouraging black men or women to become financially successful through hard work and self-reliance.

“D. BT often describes the black man as a helpless victim of forces and people beyond his control. But this negative stereotype often leads people to accept poverty, drugs, crime and filth as their unalterable fate.

“E. BT makes a great mistake when it assumes that poverty automatically means crime and filth. Just because you are poor does not mean you have a license to rob, rape, or murder others. The poor are for the most part good and honest people. Crime is crime regardless of who commits it. Poverty is no excuse for criminality.

“F. BT judges people on the basis of the color of their skin instead of the content of their character.

“G. BT gives the impression that the black man’s problem is his skin instead of his sin.

“H. Most BT books glorify rage, hatred and violence instead of faith, hope and love.

“I. BT preaches race instead of grace as the solution to problems.

“J. BT cries out for political liberation instead of spiritual salvation.

“K. BT thinks more of Marx than it does of Jesus.

“L. BT is more interested in black culture than in Jesus Christ.

“VI. The Liberalism Of Black Liberal Theology

“BT is not a fundamental, Bible-believing, Christ-honoring theology. BT was created by white liberation theologians at white liberal seminaries and universities that are radically anti-Christian and anti-Bible.

“A. Most of those involved in BT do not believe in the Trinity, the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, literal ascension or return to this world. They claim that all such doctrines are ‘Western.’

“B. Many of those who teach BT openly deny the immortality of the soul, a conscious after-life in heaven or hell, the resurrection of the dead, the Last Judgment and the eternal conscious torment of the damned in hell. They usually say that hell is ‘being black on welfare in the ghetto.’ They attack those blacks who talk about heaven as a ‘pie in the sky by and by slave mentality.’

“C. BT often denounces Christianity as racist and the ‘white man’s religion.’ But then it turns around and claims that Jesus was black. If Jesus was a black man, then how can Christianity be the ‘white man’s religion?’

“D. Most BT writers deny the inspiration, inerrancy and authority of the Bible while at the same time using it to foster their racist agenda.

“E. Many BT leaders teach the theory of evolution in which man evolved from an ape in Africa as if that theory can give dignity to blacks or to anyone else. The theory of evolution actually destroys all dignity and morals by reducing man to an animal.

“VII. The Absurdity of Black Liberal Theology

“BT is so filled with self-contradiction and erroneous ideas that it is has no intellectual merit. For example, BT defines ‘blackness’ and ‘whiteness’ in the Marxist sense of class struggle. Thus BT is not really talking about blackness as a race but as a class. Wake up! Read that last sentence again. Did you get it? Black liberal theology is really concerned with class struggle and not about black people per se. What is ‘black’ and ‘white’ according to the BT books?

“Black = anyone regardless of race or color who is economically and politically oppressed by the upper classes.

“White = anyone regardless of race or color who is guilty of oppressing the lower classes.

“Walter McCray in his book, The Black Presence In The Bible, quotes with approval the definition of blackness given by his liberal mentor, Charles Copher.

“Additionally, one may be defined as black regardless of color or race; all who suffer oppression…are classified as black.(p. 161, n.72.)

“This irrational definition ends up with some white people being ‘black’ and some black people being “white.” According to BT’s definition, a blond, blue- eyed, white Swede on drugs and welfare is ‘black’ while the successful black man who owns his own company is ‘white.’ Other absurdities abound in their writings.

“A. BT claims that Adam and Eve were black. If this is true, then all men are ‘black’ because they came from the first black parents. On what grounds then does BT divide up mankind into black vs white and black vs yellow? Aren’t we all ‘black’ having come from the same original black DNA?

“B. BT claims that Noah, his wife and their three sons and wives were all blacks. Yet, they also claim that the blacks descended from Ham. And they run through the Bible looking for Hamite references to track the history of the black race. How can this obvious contradiction be resolved ?

“C. As part of its Marxist ideology, BT believes that history is as relative as morals. Thus BT rewrites history to foster its own socio-political goals. This is why BT does not hesitate to teach lies and to practice academic chicanery. The ‘truth’ is not their concern. To manipulate young blacks into racist rage is always their real goal.

“D. BT claims that nearly every individual and nation mentioned in the Bible was black. They do not prove that this true. They simply asset that this is so. Anyone who disagrees with them is labeled a racist.

“E. BT claims that the ancient Sumerians, Assyrians, Babylonians and Persians were all black. Yet, they were the cruelest oppressors known in history. For example, the Assyrians enslaved and deported entire populations. Mass murder was their favorite means of oppression. How can they be “black” when they were worse oppressors than Hitler or Stalin?

“F. BT claims that the ancient Egyptians were black and that the Jews were black as well. But since the Egyptians were a very oppressive society which enslaved the Jews and other minorities and conquered many surrounding nations, how can the Egyptians be ‘black’ and oppress people at the same time?

“G. BT just like the KKK and other racist groups claims that its race is the sole source of all that is good in all cultures. But this is a two edged sword. If the blacks are responsible for all the good in the world, then they are equally responsible for all the evil. To claim that the black man can do no wrong and that the white man and yellow man can do no good, is absurd as well as racist.

“H. BT claims that the ancient Greeks were black and thus Greek philosophy was created by blacks. But then BT also says that the white Greeks stole their philosophy from African blacks. How can the Greeks be black and white at the same time? But if they were all blacks, then what is wrong with blacks sharing ideas?

“I. BT claims that the Greeks stole their ideas from black Africans and thus all the good in Western culture comes from blacks. But if this is true, how can BT condemn Western culture on one hand and then claim that it came from blacks on the other hand?

“J. BT also claims that all the good in Oriental culture came from African blacks. The Orientals thus stole their culture from the blacks. But if this is true, why are African motifs missing in Oriental philosophies and art?

“K. BT authors claim that the Egyptian word Kemet means ‘the land of the Blacks.’ In reality, the word actually means ‘the black land’ referring to the dark soil along the flood plain of the Nile. It is used in Egyptian literature in opposition to the word Deshret which literally means ‘the red land,’ a reference to the color of the dirt or sand in the desert.

“VIII. Black Liberal Theology Contradicts The Bible

“In order to make everyone in the Bible black, BT takes passages out of context, ignores the grammar of Hebrew and Greek, and then attacks anyone who disagrees with them as ‘racist’ or ‘white.’ But BT violates several clear Scriptures.

“1. Acts 17:26 “He made from one all the nations of mankind to live on all the face of the earth.”

“The Bible teaches that there is only one race — the human race — regardless of size, shape or color. Thus there is no “black” or ‘white’ blood. There is only human blood which can be transfused from one man to the next regardless of color or race. BT con-tradicts this by talking about “black blood.”

“2. Rom. 2:11 “There is no partiality with God.”

“God does not treat people any differently because they are red, yellow, black or white. They are all precious in His sight. But BT claims that God is partial to blacks! This is just as wrong as the Nazis who claimed the same thing for the Ayrian race or the KKK who claims the same for the white race.

“3. Gal. 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

“BT divides the Church into different economic classes and pits them against each other. Thus they try to put asunder what God has joined together. The Body of Christ is one.

“4. Eph. 4:4-5:2 “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.”

BT preaches bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander and that blacks should seek revenge instead of taking the path of forgiveness.

“5. 1 Sam 16:7 “But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

“BT looks only at the outward appearance. This is wrong. We must judge people not by their color but by their moral character or lack of it.

Conclusion :

“Black liberal theology is not of God but of the devil. It is nothing more than ‘white liberal religion’ and is used by white theologians and politicians to keep blacks down in order to use them as cannon fodder for a Marxist revolution. Black liberal theologians slave for their white Marxist masters to bring about a violent revolution that would guarantee that all men, blacks included, would always be poor and oppressed. The only answer to liberal theology, regardless of the color of those who teach it, is personal salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. Once you have experienced the love of God in Christ, you do not have any room in you heart for the self-hate and racist rage upon which BT feeds. The black community needs a revival — not a revolution; Jesus — not Marx; Christianity — not liberalism. Jesus is the only One who can change the hearts of all men and set them free from their bondage to sin.”
